✨POPWAVE - THE COLLECTION✨

Body-con silhouettes with iconic pop-art inspired graphics, transparent mini dresses in all-over queer-kiss print, statement patchwork suit with signature wavy pattern. POPWAVE, Jannike Sommar’s new capsule celebrates queerness with genderless designs and screaming colors.

Inspired by the nostalgic pop star posters from the 80s/90s, POPWAVE contrasts Fashion and Advertising imagery serving a whole new language, now from a queer perspective. These posters have consistently portrayed cisgender women reinforcing the beauty standard of normative culture. POPWAVE pushes non-binary codes with a playful expression and a graphic statement.

The capsule brings gender-neutral garments with unisex sizing, addressed to a global queer community looking for a highly enhanced self-expression.

The brand’s queer-kiss print comes now in mesh dresses, and swimsuits. They can be layered creating a 3D effect and a versatile swim and party look. Super sexy wavy pants in red and purple are paired with a patchwork bodysuit showcasing the gigantic eye with the recognizable in-your-face attitude. A mini jersey dress in the same color-pattern comes with an open back and a huge screaming mouth front. 

Jannike pushes the wavy pattern this season with the capsule’s masterpiece: a pink and black suit fully made in patchwork, with oversized blazer and tailored pants.
