Many have opinions about the gender affirming care. But what do the patients themselves actually think?

The gender affirming care has a lot challenges and changes ahead. That's why we, as part of Patientförening för transpersoner, want to conduct a report of patient's own experiences of the gender affirming care. It's important to get an idea of how patients themselves experience the gender affirming care in Sweden, especially now that it will restructured to become national highly specialized care. We hope to be able to conduct similar reports in the future and compare the results.

During 2023 Patientförening för transpersoner will be working on a report about patients' experiences of the gender affriming care in Sweden during the last two years (2021-2023). At this seminar we will present the first part of the report, which we hope to publish during 2023.
