My name is Sten, and I live in Cambridge. Many of my photos are inspired by my tourettes. My diagnosis makes it impossible for me to do much. So my pictures often depict things my tics say and the chaos they create. By painting them I can at least get something nice out of them.
Another important theme in my art is trans and LGBT rights. I came out as trans myself 15 years ago and the climate for trans people in the UK has been steadily declining in recent years.

My pictures are made with promarkers and markers. Depending on the size, an image takes 8 to 50 hours.
