Martin is a glass artist, born in 1996 in Täby but learned to blow ice cream at high school in California in 2011. He has practiced in 15 different cabins around the world and with his curiosity tries to discover everything that is possible to do with ice cream, especially in color. Martin loves to fill his creations with layers of strong colors, the opposite of minimalism. The glass process is filled with tension, together the glassblowers must interact in a dance for what is created to survive. It is mellow to experience how the glass moves when it is 1000 degrees, Martin gives movement to his works to keep that rock & roll feeling. Since 2020, he and his wife Aleksandra run the glass cabin at Skansen, where they create their art every day and teach glassblowing.
