In support of the Bill on Civil Partnerships, KyivPride shares ten stories of real people from the frontline and from relatively peaceful rear cities. The heroes of the exhibition fight, volunteer, and wait for their loved ones to come back from the war and at the same time remain invisible and unprotected, having no right to marry. Tens of thousands of LGBTQI Ukrainians have been in relationships with their partners for many years without being able to officially register their families and obtain the same marriage rights which straight majority enjoy.
